The Gite at Monclaire is an old breton cottage with an added granite built conservatory.Its set in a peacful hamlet with large gardens and meadows.The gite has its own private parking.The first floor has two good size bedrooms, one twin, the other double and on the same floor there is a shower room with modern multi-massage shower a wc and wasbasin and cupboard storage.The landing leads to a staircase to the mezzanine area.The mezzanine has a single bed and furniture for clothes etc.All rooms have wardrobes and draw sets, lamps, mirrors and chairs.The ground floor is a large space with a lounge/sitting area with sofa and 2 easy chairs.Uk satellite tv is available along with a dvd/video player and a stereo/radio unit.The lounge has electric heaters and a large wood burning chimney.A library of films, books and games is also provided.
The kitchen is modern and equipped with washing machine,oven and hob, microwave and fridge/frezzer.Plenty of storage and cooking equippment.
The conservatory is everyones favourite room and is large,light and airy and has great views over the gardens and the meadows that belong to the cottage.One area of the conservatory is a large dining area with penty of space for 6 or more and the other area is a sitting area for relaxing with a book or a glass of wine and watching the local deer and wildlife.

Outside there is a large gaden area and 2 terrace areas.The BBQ area is easily accessible from the kitchen and lots of garden furniture is provided.The meadows surrounding the cottage belong to the house and are ideal for flying kites,playing football etc.These are private spaces for Gite use only.
Supermarkets and shops, bars and restaurants are all within a 5 minute drive or alternatively you could go for a pleasant walk to our local village of Roz sur Couesnon and stop off for a beer at the village bar!

Local Area Details

The local area is fantastic for walking and cycling and is ideally situated on the borders between Brittany and Normandy.The cottage is only a short stroll away from panoramic views of Le Mont St Michel and the whole bay area.A 10 minute drive and you can visit Le Mont.We are lucky to have some of the nicest beaches and the gorgeous beach tows of St Malo and Dinard and Cancale.We have also the medieval towns of Dinan and Dol-de-Bretagne on our doorsteps.There are such alot of attractions and things to do that you will never be bored.Some of the most popular activities are golf,the aquariums,watersports,sailing,cycling and walking.We are also in a great location for the local activity park, water park, karting and quads.See our website www.gite-holidays-in-brittany.com for more details of the gite and the local attractions.
