This spacious family house offers a peaceful and secluded retreat without being remote and inaccessible.
On the edge of a quaint village, this villa sits on the "Levada de Cima" and overlooks surf-crashing seascapes and rocky mountain vistas.
The house and property are ideal for a family vacation but also for a romantic get-away or even an active vacation. Situated 10 minutes from Sao Vicente on the North Coast of the Island, it provides a fantastic starting point for many local activities such as - amongst others walking and surfing.
Madeira Casa is being fully renovated at the moment (works finish in 06/07).
Our house is equipped with all modern facilities. With an open-plan layout, the villa is spacious and offers maximum natural light, it also offers a furnished patio overlooking the sea. The brand new kitchen has all you need to cook up a feast -> ceramic cooking plates (4), oven, microwave, fridge , freezer and of course a dishwasher. If you don't feel like cooking there are quite a few restaurants only 5 minutes drive from the house.
The house has 3 bedrooms, two of which lead out to the covered balcony that runs along the length of the house. It has two complete bathrooms - one on each floor. There is a little wineyard and several apple trees belonging to the house as well as a leisure garden.
Car parking is available free of charge at the street level. There are many steps leading from the parking/street to MadeiraCasa. This property is not suited for people with reduced mobility. The airport is 45 minutes away by car. A rental car is recommended even if there is a bus stop next to the parking.
The Ocean is a short 3 minute-drive away whereas 5 minutes take you to the brand new pool of Ponta Delgada.
