The complex is within a quiet gated community with its own large prestine pool area, set in attractive gardens and sun terrace. The apartment offers wonderful views to the front and rear. To the front over looking the pretty pool area, with views of the valley running down to the sea at Olu Deniz. To the rear there are views of the pine clad hills and the impressive mount Babadag is also in view. The apartment development is close to the Artemisia Royal Park holiday resort with it's own very large pool complex which features an aqua slide and various pool games. The hotel pool bar serves drinks and snacks all day, whilst the restaurant offers traditional Turkish and English cuisine. All the facilities of the
hotel are available to apartment guests free of charge including the excellent weekly entertainment, only drinks and food purchases are to be paid. Local Area Details

The apartment is situated in a wonderful position with lovely walks in to the surrounding pine forests, do not miss the fabulous evening sunsets from your balcony. The apartment is situated with a short walk to the nearby Dolmus bus stop and there is a free daily hotel shuttle bus to the spectacular Blue Lagoon at Olu Deniz beach. There are scores of holiday activities including tandem paragliding, microlight flights, diving, fishing, white water rafting and fantastic jeep safaris with a visit to the mud baths. There are also many local sightseeing excursions which can be booked through the resort reception. A coastline of outstanding beauty with picturesque fishing ports and wonderful beaches. The nearby market town of Fethiye with its colourful water front and marina offers some excellent shopping and superb restaurants. Do not miss the opportunity to see the 12 Islands of Fethiye Bay on-board one of the many boat cruisers with time for swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. The beautiful beach at Olu Deniz with its famous Blue Lagoon is also not to be missed.

About Weather/Climate/Temperature

You will love the Turkish climate. In the spring months the average temp is 18-28, summer 25-35 (although very often in August it can top 40) and in autumn 18-28. Don't believe the weather forecasts you see in the UK news and websites, on the ground in Turkey it is nearly always warmer. The sea temperature is excellent especially in the later months of September and October. At the nearby "Blue Lagoon" in Olu Deniz its almost like stepping into a bath.

About Bars

The lively resort of Hisaronu is a 15-20 minute walk away, or a cheap taxi ride of 5 minutes. There are loads of shops selling all holiday bargains especially cheap designer lable clothing, there are countless bars, quite a number of nightclubs and lots of different nationality restaurants. Hisaronu is very safe and you will feel comfortable at what ever time.

About Transport

The local "Dolmus" bus service is excellent and cheap. They tend to be like small minibus type vehicles, full of friendly locals. You just find a bus stop and hold up arm and they stop. It is great fun - hold on tight! You should only expect to pay between 30p to a £1 in Turkish Lira for a local 3-12km journey. They run all day and again it's great fun ... you try it if only once. Taxis are also quite cheap, like every where they get more expensive in the evenings when late. You will find most drivers speak a little English but you be understood if you gesture and try to pronounce the local place names as best you can.

About Beaches

The most famous and beautiful has to be nearby Olu Deniz with its in-let, "The Blue Lagoon". This wide sweeping sandy, in parts sand/shingle beach is breathtaking from a distance. There a few beach bars, limited beach toilets and lots of safe bathing. Olu Deniz is the beach featured in most of the travel brochures showing Turkey. At the rear of the beach there are many bars and restaurants. There is a thriving tandem paragliding scene in and around this area where most flights throw themselves off the surrounding mountains and land just off the beach area, so keep your eyes peeled on certain parts of the beach. The nearby beach at Calis is a little further away the otherside of Fethiye is also nice and well worth a visit.
