Property Details of Auvergne House

Charming house from the 17th century just across from the 15th century bridge in the lovely village of Lavoute CHilhac. The first floor has a spacious kitchen with stone floors, chimney and sink! There is everything one needs to make excellent meals with a fridge, gas cooker, coffee maker, washing machine, toaster... There is a living room of 35m2 with a sofa bed for one, telelvision, comfortable charis, some toys and books.

Upstairs you will find the old oak floors in the master bedroom with a queen sized bed and a view of the spectacular village tower and church. There is a large bathroom with a bath/shower and toilet and next door is another toilet with a sink.

The 3rd floor has another bedroom with a queen sized bed, and two smaller bedrooms with single beds in each. The garden is on the 3rd floor behind the house with a table and chairs and some lounge chairs as well a bbq.

Finally, the fourht floor has a large bedroom with 3 single beds.

The renal fee includes the sheets and there is also a baby bed.

The fee is 800 in summer and starting at 500 euros in off season. It is possible to rent the house for the weekend.

Local Area Details

Lavoute Chilhac is in the High Valley of the Allier River. It is a beautiful setting with the river and the small mountains that surround the village. It is an ideal location to bike, hike, watch birds, fish, hunt for mushrooms or just relax by the river. There are outstanding villages near Lavoute Chilhac such as Chilhac, Lavaudieu, La Chaise Dieu, the town of Brioude... and it is only 4( kms form Le PUy en Velay and 90 kms form Clermont Ferrand.

Lavoute Chilhac has all one might need: a small shop, baker, butcher, the post, a cafe, some restaurants, a kayak rental... It is very well situated and very convenient. Our house is the ideal place for reunions or parties with family and friends.
