NB: AS THE HOUSE IS SET IN THE PEDESTRIAN PART OF THE VILLAGE, YOU CANNOT DRIVE YOUR CAR TO THE DOOR. THAT SAID, PARKING IS NEARBY AND PLENTIFUL. THERE IS A VERY SHORT, BUT UPHILL WALK TO THE HOUSE, SO THE HOUSE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE INFIRM OR VERY YOUNG.
Access is very good with BA flying to Montpellier (approx. 50 mins) and Toulouse (approx. 2 hours). In addition, Ryanair flies to Montpellier, Carcassonne (approx. 1 hour) and Perpignan (approx. 1 hour).

Local Area DetailsMagalas boasts 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a pharmacy, a general store, 3 bakers, a butcher, a post office, a bank with cash machine, a newsagent, a weekly outdoor market, a supermarket, and a petrol station The main charm of the village is simply to stroll around the maze of streets and watch local wine producers going about their business. In the evening you will be taking in inkblack skies to a backdrop of virtual silence. If the nightlife of Benidorm is your thing then Magalas is not for you. We have a fanatastic activity centre on our doorstep where you can swim, quad bike, horse ride or try your hand at archery. We are just 20 mins from beautiful, clean and quiet beaches. Heading north for 20 mins, you'll find the stunning Haut Languedoc National Park where you can canoe, swim, fish, climb or walk. Further east along the coast are the famous resorts of Cap dAgde and Sete. The historic town of Pezenas is 15 mins away as is Beziers with its abundance of chic boutiques, large shopping malls, restaurants, and cafes. Carcassonne and its magical castle is only an hour away.
