Property Details of Algarve Villa
Newly constructed two bed roomed semi-detached villa with a large heated pool and large pool terrace set in the tranquil hills surrounding the village of Sao Marcos da Serra in the Algarve. It offers the serenity of country walks and drives yet it is only half an hour’s drive from beaches, golf clubs and horse riding centres. Faro airport is only forty minutes drive away.
The fully equipped villa sleeps maximum of 5 people and offers the following:
1. Two double bedrooms; one en-suite with fitted wardrobes and large walk in showers. Additional bed can be accommodated in the living room.
2. One family bathroom with a large walk in shower.
3. Large open plan living room with a fully equipped kitchenette (gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, satellite TV with English and local channels and DVD player)
4. Air conditioning and heating throughout.
5. Barbeque and seating area.
6. Various seating and sun bathing areas.
7. Baby cot available on request.
Car hire is essential. If you need assistance with car hire we can arrange it for you with a reputable local firm. If you prefer we can arrange to meet you at the airport. The cost of transfer from Faro Airport to the villa is Euros 50 for a maximum of 4 adults.
These are included in the price. Towels are changed twice a week and linen once a week. Washing machine is available.
Evening Indian meals can be provided.
Fresh seasonal organic produce is available from the garden. We can offer, depending on the time of the year, peas, beans, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, sweet peppers, chillies, okras, aubergines, bitter melons(karela), dudhi, soya beans, carrots, cucumber, various salads and herbs, melons, oranges, strawberries, etc.

Local Area DetailsThe village of Sao Marcos da Serra is just 40 minutes drive from Faro Airport It is in the municipality concelho of Silves and has an area of 1549 km squared and a population of 1535 with a population density of 99 habitants per kilometre squared The Villa is 5 minutes drive away from the village All essential amenities like shops butcher bank post office medical centre pharmacy restaurants cafes petrol station train station and church are located in the village If you enjoy the countryside explore the surrounding hills either by car or take a walk along many of the footpaths The town of Silves with its old Morrish castle is 30 minutes drive Monchique mountain is 45 minutes drive through very stunning and scenic countryside Santa Clara with its dam and beautiful reservoir is 30 minutes drive where you can enjoy a picnic and a day out There are many beaches to the south Most are between 30 and 40 minutes drive away Beaches of Albufeira and Guia are the nearest being 30 minutes drive The large marina of Villamora with its many restaurants is 45 minutes drive There is a wide selection of golf courses Nearest are in Albufeira Carvoeiro and Villamora also have numerous golf courses and 45 minutes drive The Algarve Shopping Centre in Guia offers a wide selection of shops supermarket restaurants bowling alley and cinemas Slide and Splash in Lagoa and The Big One in Alcantarilha are 45 minutes drive These provide a great day out for children and adults alike
