CASA ANITA is a beautifully presented white-painted single-storied villa. It overlooks the sea and enjoys views of the mountains. It is set on a small hill in 3/4 acres of fenced private garden, and is in the sun all day and all year.
The private swimming pool is 15 m by 6 m, and is surrounded by extensive terracing. The villa is secluded and well screened and yet is only ten minutes walking from the beach, is within easy reach of restaurants and shops and is close to the Golf courses, horse riding and water sports.
Eight people are accommodated in four bedrooms, all with views of sea or mountain. The villa is on one level and is located in a quiet residential area just 1km from the beach and all amenities. A car is recommended.
Entry into the grounds is via large black gates at the beginning of the driveway. Entry into the property is through the rear patio area, via a single door protected with a reja (all doors and windows are similarly protected i.e. metal gates/ironwork).
A hallway/corridor provides access to three large twin bedrooms to the left and a tiled bathroom. Each of the bedrooms contains two single beds and fitted wardrobes. The bedroom at the end of the hallway also incorporates an en-suite tiled shower room with wash hand basin. To the right hand side and opposite to the entrance door is a further cloakroom containing WC and wash hand basin. Additional built-in cupboard space is also in the corridor. To the right is a door that was previously used as the main entrance to the property and this provides direct access to the pool area.
Passing through the large dining room area, there is spacious well equipped tiled kitchen. This contains a built in electric oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, and a gas hob unit with an extractor unit above. The kitchen has an extensive range of base and wall units, which provide ample storage for utensils, crockery etc. Views from the kitchen window to the north are to the mountain. From the kitchen is a utility room containing a washing machine and sink unit set in kitchen base units together with ironing facilities. From the utility room is a small drying area, which also contains a further exterior shower.
There are two large comfortable lounges. The first contains two sofas, chairs, large coffee table, sideboards, book- shelves, small TV and VHR and a built-in fireplace. Double doors provide access to the sheltered rear patio area which has wonderful views through the garden to the sea. The second lounge/family room contains a further sofa, chairs, bookshelves and built-in fireplace. It gives onto a small terrace with views southwards to the sea.
Also from the main lounge is the master bedroom containing a double bed and an extensive range of built in wardrobes. There are two windows, east to the mountains and south to the sea. It has an en-suite fully tiled shower room which also contains a wash hand basin, WC and bidet.
The property benefits from a full central heating system, the propane gas boiler also providing hot water.
Gardens containing mature trees, cacti and flowering shrubs surround the property and there is a large tiled swimming pool set into a lower area with perimeter tiled patio areas, upon which are sun beds etc. A staircase provides access to the roofs of the property from which exceptional all round views of both the mountain and coastline are afforded

Local Area Details

With an average of 322 days of sunshine and a summer temperature of 28º, the Costa de Almeria is the perfect destination all year round. The Moorish influence is nowhere more conspicuous than in Mojacar with its narrow cool streets winding down the hillside and Neolithic "Indalo Man" featuring everywhere.
Mojacar enjoys extensive clean beaches, with all the normal activities including sailing, boarding and diving. There are riding schools, golf courses and a flying club near by. Or you can take gentle walks in the hills or by the sea.
Building height and colour is controlled preventing the development of concrete jungles. At the foot of the village are safe clean beaches and a wide variety of restaurants and shops. The coast extends for 17 kilometres of caves and open beaches, many of them virgin. Inland are the Cabrera mountains, and the desert which was where many “spaghetti westerns” were made. There is an ample variety of sport on offer - golf, bowls, horse riding, water sports. Almeria airport is one hour away, Alicante or Murcia two hours and Andalucia is at Mojacár’s doorstep
