Claire Harrigan, a health and wellbeing specialist from London, teams up with a Swedish designer Asa Oveland to create a holistically designed space aimed at enhancing people’s lifestyle while being environmentally friendly. The key features of this Ritual Retreat concept are:

The heart of the home is Dazie: a central, computerised home management system designed by Morban Intelligent Living. Dazie can answer the door even when no-one is at home, allowing direct communication with the caller. She controls the heating, lighting, security, computer network, audio and TV services.

The house is heated by an energy efficient system designed by Eco-Gas, using solar panels and water based underfloor heating. Low toxic sustainable materials are used throughout the house, including natural paints, plasters, & sheep’s wool insulation. The concept integrates colour therapy into the design through LED lighting and a multipurpose ‘Happy Shower’ that washes you in colour as you cleanse.

A bespoke sleeping platform with the latest high tech sleeping system from Nikken enhances restful sleep and assists in the journey to complete wellness. The luxury bathrooms were inspired by Japanese bathing rituals.

Ground floor - low maintenance polished concrete flooring with large open planned kitchen/diner/lounge - contemporary - lignet roset sofa - turns into queen size bed. Folding patio doors onto patio area (south facing).

Middle floor - Stark 1 shower room, water closet, bidet, basin. Super king size sleeping platform with 2 meters of wardrobes. Ajoining office or third bedroom.

Top floor - loft style open planned bedroom with happy shower and large bath, 2 basins and separate stark 1 water closet. Pebbled wet area flooring. 7 meters of storage. King size bed. Color changing roof and shower.
