The town centre with its shops, bars, restaurants and largest weekly market in the Dordogne is only a short walk making La Charouffie ideal for seeing the sites and relaxing or just lazing around the pool.
Local Area DetailsRiberac is the main market town in the Perigord Vert area of the Dordogne and is busy throughout the year. It has an extensive range of facilities including a full range of shops and two supermarkets. Every Friday its centre buzzes with activity as it houses the largest market in the Dordogne where all manner of local produce can be purchased, often directly from the producer. The town`s sporting facilities are excellent and include a swimming pool complex and tennis courts. The River Dronne lies directly to the north of the town and also offers swimming, fishing and other water sports. The late night Bars are also lively for the young and young at heart, overall making this an ideal spot for all age groups to enjoy a very wide range of facilities.
