Le Dolci Colline, which translates as “The Gentle Hills” is set in a stunning hillside position on a winding road, which terminates at the gate to the property, ensuring privacy and tranquility. The house has been recently converted to provide four separate apartments, which open up to make 1 large apartment at ground floor and one at first floor. It is an ideal holiday solution for families or groups who want to holiday together but maintain some privacy. Every room is well furnished, with a mixture of antiques, comfortable new sofas, modern bathrooms and kitchens fitted with cooker, fridge and dishwasher. The first floor accommodation is described here:
“Oliva” 2 bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 double, large kitchen/living room, bathroom with shower.
“Mela” one double bedroom, bathroom with full bath and shower over, large living/dining room with fireplace and kitchen corner. Outside, shaded furnished terrace.
These two apartments at first floor join to accommodate 7 persons. The apartments have satellite tv and central heating. A separate laundry room/cloakroom is accessed from the pool side.
Outside, the large swimming pool (11 x 6m with depth of 1.10—1.40 m) has been set into the hillside, overlooking the olive grove and the surrounding hills. Descending from the pool, there are paths marked out for walking, varying in length from 110 metres to 10.5 kms, to take in some of the magnificent views. The pool is fully fenced, and there are play areas and equipment for children, as well as a “bocce” court and ping-pong. Mountain bikes are also available.
