This spacious Luxury Penthouse apartment is set on a secure gated complex with 4 lovely pools + 3 childrens pools in landscaped gardens. It is only 5 minutes drive from 2 wonderful beaches, 2 minutes to nearest golf course, 2 minutes to large Tennis, Squash, Gym and Sauna Club, 10 minutes to Mijas Water Park and many other great family attractions reached within 15 minutes including, Aqualand, Fuengirola Zoo, Crocodile Park, Tivoli World, Sealife Centre, Selwo Safari Park, Selwo Marina, Cable Cars and Funny Beach and the apartment is only 3 minutes from an abundant choice of bars and restaurants within the resort of Calahonda itself, not to mention the exhaustive range of discos and nightclubs which can be found nearby and all along this coast.

"We came back from your fabulous apartment on Easter Friday, and the weather was definitely on our side. What can I say about your 'pad'... its fab! It felt like a home from home the kids soon made themselves at home, and within no time we really felt relaxed. Having the underground parking was a 'god send' as well. I was amazed at what was within 5 mins drive, the beach at Cabopino is amazing, and of course the big resorts are also so close. We really enjoyed our stay, our 2 youngest children we're very upset when we had to come home, ah...if only the ash cloud could have kept us there. “Can not fault this stunning apartment. As has been said in previous reviews the terrace is definitely the highlight of the apartment and the views are amazing. The owners provide a great customer service from start to finish. If hiring a car I would recommend using the company that the owners suggest and can book for you, no credit card needed up front and I found the service good and a lot cheaper than previous companies we used. We were celebrating my husband’s 50th whilst there and on arrival found a card and a nice bottle of red wine from Sharon and Darren. Thank you both - it was a welcoming gesture. Local Area Details

Within a few minutes walk of the apartment you will find a minimarket and bar/restaurants all of which we can highly recommend. Walking a little further on (3 minute drive) will bring you to the "Strip" well known in Calahonda for its wide choice of restaurants which cater for literally all tastes including Swiss! Around the corner from the Strip is the "El Zoco Centre" where you will find a further choice of wonderful restaurants set in a lovely pedestranised area. In addition you will find gift shops, banks, newsagents, pharmacy etc and one of 3 large supermarkets which will cater for all your needs. Opposite the El Zoco just across the coastal road, there is the "Dona Lola Complex" where yet again you will find a further choice of good bars and restaurants to choose from.

Calahonda is a busy resort with a rustic flavour and is very much centred on the holidaymaker, with four golf courses, tennis courts, and a shimmering coastline offering an array of water sports, shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants that have a truly global take on cuisine and cannot fail to suit all tastes!

Tucked between Marbella and Fuengirola and only 25 minutes west of Malaga airport, this pretty purpose built resort, makes an ideal base for holidaymakers wishing to explore the numerous places of interest both along this coast and inland. The location of the apartment is "excellent" in making it very easy to access the majority of this coasts major resorts and attractions in very little time.

Calahonda has its own marina called Cabopino (5 minutes away), which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque marina on the Costa del Sol. It has a superb sandy beach with bars and restaurants that have barbecue areas where freshly caught fish are cooked as a speciality. The marina is host to many lovely and well known reputable restaurants, Albert's is highly recommended for a special night out! 5 minutes in the opposite direction, brings you to the typically spanish resort of La Cala, which also boasts a lovely clean sandy beach with beach bars, water sports and a good selection of lovely restaurants set amongst the white washed backstreets of this charming resort.

Calahonda is very popular with golf fans, as the region has one of Europe's highest concentrations of first-rate golf courses, a total of 10 golf courses can be found within a 10-kilometre radius of the area alone, four around Calahonda itself. A total of 40 courses, including World-class courses, can be reached within 40 minutes!
