This spacious Luxury Penthouse apartment is set on a secure gated complex with 4 communal pools in landscaped gardens. It is only 5 minutes drive from 2 wonderful beaches, 2 minutes to nearest golf course, 2 minutes to large Tennis, Squash, Gym and Sauna Club, 10 minutes to Mijas Water Park and many other great family attractions reached within 15 minutes including, Aqualand, Fuengirola Zoo, Crocodile Park, Tivoli World, Sealife Centre, Selwo Safari Park, Selwo Marina, Cable Cars and Funny Beach and the apartment is only 3 minutes from an abundant choice of bars and restaurants within the resort of Calahonda itself, not to mention the exhaustive range of discos and nightclubs which can be found nearby and all along this coast.
A great feature of this superb apartment which is always enthusiastically commented on by our guests, is the very large wrap around terrace which can be accessed from the lounge, dining area and the master bedroom and offers an outstanding sea view. South facing it has sun all day! a built in BBQ for al fresco cooking!, sun beds & drinks table, a large dining table, chairs and parasol and for the evening a lovely 3 piece lounge suite with matching drinks table where you can relax with a cool drink as you watch the sun set over the Mediterranean and the coast of Africa!

Local Area DetailsWithin a few minutes walk of the apartment you will find a minimarket and bar/restaurants all of which we can highly recommend. Walking a little further on (3 minute drive) will bring you to the "Strip" well known in Calahonda for its wide choice of restaurants which cater for literally all tastes including Swiss! Around the corner from the Strip is the "El Zoco Centre" where you will find a further choice of wonderful restaurants set in a lovely pedestranised area. In addition you will find gift shops, banks, newsagents, pharmacy etc and one of 3 large supermarkets which will cater for all your needs. Opposite the El Zoco just across the coastal road, there is the "Dona Lola Complex" where yet again you will find a further choice of good bars and restaurants to choose from.
Calahonda is a busy resort with a rustic flavour and is very much centred on the holidaymaker, with four golf courses, tennis courts, and a shimmering coastline offering an array of water sports, shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants that have a truly global take on cuisine and cannot fail to suit all tastes!
Tucked between Marbella and Fuengirola and only 25 minutes west of Malaga airport, this pretty purpose built resort, makes an ideal base for holidaymakers wishing to explore the numerous places of interest both along this coast and inland. The location of the apartment is "excellent" in making it very easy to access the majority of this coasts major resorts and attractions in very little time.
Calahonda has its own marina called Cabopino (5 minutes away), which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque marina on the Costa del Sol. It has a superb sandy beach with bars and restaurants that have barbecue areas where freshly caught fish are cooked as a speciality. The marina is host to many lovely and well known reputable restaurants, Albert's is highly recommended for a special night out! 5 minutes in the opposite direction, brings you to the typically spanish resort of La Cala, which also boasts a lovely clean sandy beach with beach bars, water sports and a good selection of lovely restaurants set amongst the white washed backstreets of this charming resort.
Calahonda is very popular with golf fans, as the region has one of Europe's highest concentrations of first-rate golf courses, a total of 10 golf courses can be found within a 10-kilometre radius of the area alone, four around Calahonda itself. A total of 40 courses, including World-class courses, can be reached within 40 minutes!

| PLEASE NOTE - A booking may commence on the same day that a booking ends for departing guests. Prices for our apartment are per week and include a meet and greet service, linen, towels, (not beach towels please bring your own) air conditioning, reasonable electricity costs and final cleaning. Should you require a mid stay clean and change of linen and towels via our management team this will be at an additional cost of 85 Euros. We require a £150 or 20% non-refundable deposit (whichever is the greatest) upon booking and the balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. In addition to the balance a £200 refundable deposit against breakages/damage or lost keys is also required at this time, which will be refunded once the apartment has been checked following your departure.
