Enjoy the beautiful sandstone mountains of South Africa's scenic Eastern Free State. Our very large stoep has unparalleled views of the Lesotho's Maluti mountain range which is usually snow covered during the winter months.
Enjoy lazy days just reading and watching the views or go hiking, horse riding, bird watching or off-road driving for the more adventurous. The summer months are very pleasant, with a warm sun shining.
Enjoy South Africa’s favourite past-time, Braaing outside.(or BBQ for the Americans)
Our cosy, new house has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the bathroom has a bath. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The second bathroom has a shower. (Bed linen is provided and towels can be arranged)
The kitchen is fully equipped with the normally required utensils, but if cooking isn't your scene, there are restaurants approx. 1km away.
There is under cover parking for your car.
The house is secured with the stand fenced in.
The town of Fouriesburg is a quiet town, off the beaten track, yet close to Clarens.
Only 300km from Johannesburg. The nearest airport is in Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport.
Our house is child frendly.

Local Area Details

10km from caledonspoort boarder post with Lesotho. Katse dam which is approx 3 hours drive away, is part of the Lesotho Highlands water project.
4x4 trails, horse riding and hiking are all available in the area. There are resturants in town for those that prefer to dine out.
Fouriesburg is approx 40km from the arty town of Clarens.
