Jabulani Lodge is a beautifully designed lodge located on the Kruger Park Lodge Golf resort, is in Hazyview, Mpumalanga; in the heart of the South African Lowveld. It has 3 double, en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining room and an extensive deck with integrated barbeque/braai area.

Kruger Park Lodge is a beautiful 4 star resort set on the banks of the River Sabie. It is home to herds of impala, troops of vervet monkeys and rafts of hippo which can be viewed from the safety of the hippo hide, it also offers spectacular bird life. It offers a 9 hole, 18 tee Gary Player designed golf course, tennis courts, crazy golf, trampolines, giant chess, volleyball, pool table tennis, 3 swimming pools, an excellent restaurant etc.

You will need to hire a car as this is the best way to get around. You can fly into Johannesburg then either rent a car to Hazyview (500 kms or 4.5 hours) or fly onto Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), hire a car and drive from Whiteriver (30 mins). If you are a couple then it is best to fly. If you are a group of 4 or more then it is cost effective to drive.

Local Area Details

It is 10 minutes from Phabeni gate and 20 minutes from Paul Kruger Gate into Kruger national Park You can drive to Kruger in your hire car and spend the day game viewing from your vehicle Either returning before the day is out or you could book a night at one of the many rest camps and return to your lodge the following day Local attractions include the Drakensburg Mountains Blyde River canyon which has spectacular views and waterfalls A trip on the Blyde River Dam is highly recommended and wont disappoint The lodge is also located in a good position to drive to such sites as Pilgrims Rest Gods Window Bourkes Luck Potholes Berlin and Mac Mac Falls and the delightful town of Graskop Africas largest cable trail is also close by You get to slide down 9 treetop cable rides amongst the forest There is also horse riding hot air ballooning trips in a microlite outstanding golf courses golf courses and walks all available for booking on the resort Nature lovers can visit the nearby animal rehabilitation centre and the cheetah breeding project and there is a reptile centre nearby too

The local restaurant is on the resort itself and is to a good standard.

About Parks

Kruger National Park is only 10 - 20 minutes away. So you can venture out for a safari there in your own hire car. There is a conservation fee to pay per day per person and if you plan to stay over night in Kruger (away from Jabulani lodge) then you must pre-book otherwise you can not enter the park. You can however go for a day trip. There are also stacks of private game reserves in the area - safaris can be organised at the resort. You have impala, birds, monkeys and hippos at Kruger Park Lodge resort too.

About Airport Information

Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) is the nearest airport. Car hire can be organised here, although it is best to do it before hand if possible. About an hour North is Hoedspruit Airport, also known as Eastgate and another 45 minutes North of Hoedspruit is Phalaborwa Airport. The latter two can be cheaper to fly to from Jo-burg if you don't mind then driving to the resort.

About Golfing

The lodge is det within the grounds of a 9 hole-18 tee golf course. There are also other golf courses in the area. Information on these can be found at the resort reception.
