The house can comfortably accommodate 10 people.
Its style is the one of country houses of the end of nineteenth century, but it is as comfortable and functional as a modern house.
We invite you to stay in one of our light-filled guest rooms, each featuring authentic furnishings, private bath, working fireplace or wood burning stove and a view of enchanting landscapes.
At the ground floor You will find a large hall with two conversation corners, a wide kitchen with a fireplace where you can grill food, an oven and everything else you need in a kitchen. Even 10 people can comfortably dine here. We place only one bedroom at this floor.
The villa was built in 1999, according to the rules of bio-architecture. Natural materials (such as: cork panels for thermal insulation, cotto floors, wooden beams, wooden internal and external window frames, lime, non synthetic mortar, plaster and paints) were exclusively used to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
At the upper floor there are four double rooms, each one with a private bath. Every room has a different landscape, according with the cardinal points. There are two arcade outside the kitchen; the first one with a big square table for 8-10 people for summer dinners and the other one is equipped with barbeque, a sink and surfaces to cook outside.
There is a 3.000 sm lawn around the house with very old olive trees.
In the garden you can find deck-chairs, tables and sun beds for a rest in the landscape areas. More information at: www.poggioparadiso.eu

The house is in the Etruscan area north of Rome in the Tiber valley It is within a completely fenced estate of 18 hectares six of which are woods and twelve with a plantation of walnuts cherries ashes oaks and limes It is surrounded by a natural reserve and plantations of hazelnut trees In the landscape You can see a valley with a stream and far away the small villages of Umbria The location is perfect ten minutes from the highway to Rome and Florence right in the centre of Italy among Rome Orvieto Viterbo and Umbria You can reach Rome by car or by train in just fifty minutes And you can plan a day trip to many natural and archeological sites It takes only one hours drive to the seaside During your stay you can enjoy a variety of activities you could walk through the extensive woods enjoying the peace and quiet and the everchanging views or you could take trips further afield to appreciate the nature and history in the nearby countryside You could go swimming in the volcanic lakes of Vico and Bolsena spend a day in a national park Monte Rufeno or the valley of River Treja or treat yourself to a thermal bath at Viterbo You could lose yourself in the picturesque mediaeval towns nearby and go shopping in some of the most beautiful Italian cities such as Perugia Viterbo and Orvieto The historic capital city of Rome is within easy reach There are many shops selling traditional ceramic products for instance in Civita Castellana and ancient Etruscan remains in Vulci and Tarquinia There is fascinating birdwatching at the Oasis of Alviano Among the streets of the towns around Poggio Paradiso you will find the colours and aromas of agricultural products like local cheese pork mushrooms azel nuts olive oil and numerous local wines Journeys in historical and naturalistic places from the house you can reach in thirty to fortyfive minutes Rome Viterbo Amelia Orvieto and other centers of tourist interest
