Castle Rock is 20 minutes from both State Highway one and three, this makes us a great place to situate yourself in order to sample the central North Island. Rotorua, Taupo, Raglan's world famous surf beaches and the amazing caves of Waitomo are all easy day trips from Castle Rock. Mount Ruapehu, New Zealand's largest ski fields and an excellent place for tramping is three and a half hours from us, as well as a number of national parks and other attractions.
