Bathrooms: One large high-beamed ceiling bathroom with walk-in shower. Style is traditional Canarian with modern "classic" fittings.

Kitchen: Very spacious kitchen with large dining table...traditional Canarian style with modern appliances eg Zanussi ceramic touch-style cooking hob.
Utility Room: Modern front-loading washing machine with drying facilities plus iron and board.
Living Rooms: Two comfortable hand-made sofas large 21" TV with satellite programmes in English including BBC World news and Sky News.
DVD system with a selection of films for children and adults.
Modern stereo system with channels in English.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Ample selection of towels and linen included. Everything that you would need is provided including hairdryer.

Outside
The house has a private patio area with heated swimming pool 3 x 5 metres, a BBQ is included in this area.
The front terrace is approximately 4 x 12 metres with seating and leads down onto the cactus garden, which is two-tiered.

Local Area Details

Country House Lanzarote is ideal for those seeking a restful holiday and those with families. The cactus garden (26 varieties) is private and provides a safe environment for the children. It has a small cave underneath which was formally the outside toilet !
The house is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village with its shops and restaurants and tapas bars but is in a quiet location, totally unspoilt with views across the village to the castle up on the volcano.
Teguise is ideally situated to explore the island by car or bike but also has a wealth of local walks for those who just want to stay locally.
The nearest beach is Famara, 5 kilometres long with the spectacular backdrop of the cliffs of Famara. This is 10 minutes by car on the old road that runs near to the house.

All the island's beaches only a short drive away.

Golf
The local golf course is 15 minutes drive away at Costa Teguise and is beautifully located beneath the volcano at Tahiche. Please contact me if you want further details.

Within 5 minutes walk of the centre of the old capital village of Teguise there are a large number of quality tapas bars and restaurants plus museums etc to visit. Don't forget the large Sunday market and the fact that you are only 10 minutes drive from the nearest (5 kilometre) beach at Famara. Teguise is ideally situated in the centre of Lanzarote to explore the whole island
