Gaeta is half way between Rome and Naples, close to the Amalfi coast, Pompei and Capri and Ponza islands and is a splendid seaside town with beautiful views and may religious and historic buildings. The town has manu medeval lanes and streets. There is a large castle, Roman monuments and wonderful beaches. The apartment is in one of the little alleys (Vichi) that start from Via della Indipendenza (with all the shops and craft centres nearby) and leads to the sea at Lungomare Caboto where you can find the harbou and buy fish directly from the fishing boats.
