Property Details of Dordogne Cottage

Our holiday home the Tournesol (sleeps 6/7) is situated on a hectare of land on a hilltop just 3 kms from les Eyzies de Tayac on the Vézère river. Les Eyzies, about 20 kms from the medieval town of Sarlat in the Périgord Noir, is the worldcapital of prehistory and numerous caves with prehistoric paintings can be found here. The cottage is pleasantly and comfortably furnished, with satellitetelevision and CD-player.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, cooker and refrigerator and the cottage has a private terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ. The large swimming pool (9x5 metres) is shared with the Wild Rose (but that cottage has also got it's own private pool) and is terraced and has sunbeds. Le Tournesol has an open plan dining room and kitchen, and a bathroom with shower on the ground floor as well as a double bedroom. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and one extra bed and one bedroom with a twin bed, as well as an extra bathroom.
There is a communal laundry for the two cottages and a cot, a baby’s tub and a high chair are available on request. There is also a baby’s inflatable pool.
