Property Details of England Cottage

The cottage (built in 1552) is attached to the main house, but is completely self-contained. There is a lovely airy conservatory with views across valleys to Stroud. We do not accept pets or smokers. All bedding is non-allergenic and supplied free. There is a full working kitchen with large fridge/freezer, radio and 2 TV's.

Local Area Details

We are centrally situated for Bath (1 hour) Gloucester (1/2 hr) Cheltenham (45 minutes) Cirencester (20 minutes) and Stroud (10 minutes) by car. Although the bus stop is just outside the cottage, rural transport is only available during the day and not Sundays. A car is advisable. Stroud Museum (free) is open from Tuesday to Sunday inclusive. The area abounds in lovely walks, with the Cotswold Way and the Thames and Severn Canal tow path nearby.
