The main attraction of this apartment is that weekly golf passes for four golfers are included in the rental price (worth around £1400 if four people play six times). Also, a 10% discount is available on all meals and drinks taken in the hotel.
The Penina Golf Apartments are located on the Penina Estate which is home to "Le Meridien" 5* luxury hotel, the famous Penina Henry Cotton Championship Golf Course, two nine hole courses, a golf academy, extensive practice facilities, tennis courts and riding stables.
The apartment is located at first floor level and is accessible by external stairs. It occupies an area of about 120sqm and is furnished/decorated in traditional style. It comprises a large living/dining room, 3 bedrooms (one en-suite) plus a 2nd bathroom, kitchen, large balcony with sun-loungers, table and BBQ.
Local Area DetailsThe development is located off the A22 and N125 only 10 minutes by car from Alvor and its beaches. The old part of Alvor and the harbour below has many good restaurants and bars.
Portimao is a 15 minute drive and offers a good range of shops, restaurants and cafes. Lagos, 20 minutes to the west, is a prosperous town with charming cobbled streets and some fine restaurants.
There are several excellent restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

Linen and towels are provided and a maid service is available at a cost of 10 Euros per hour. A 50 Euro deposit is payable on arrival to cover utility costs and golf trolleys can be hired at 10 Euros per week.
Sunday is the changeover day. Arrivals are after 1pm and departures by 10.00am.
A deposit of 25% is payable on booking. This is non-refundable if cancellation is within 6 weeks of arrival. The balance payment is payable 5 weeks prior to arrival. A damage deposit of 100 Euros may be collected on arrival and repaid before departure. |
