This well designed, newly built villa is located in a quiet spot equal distances from the nearest town and the beach. A short drive down an unmade road brings you to the top of the hill and the property, from which there are wonderful views to the sea over countryside. Not too close to other houses this is a lovely tranquil place to watch the sun go down. There is a patio to the front of the villa to take advantage of the views. All main rooms have air con/warm air heaters so this is truly an all year round property.

The front door leads into the large and airy, open plan, kitchen/diner/lounge. The kitchen area is well equipped with fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven. With the dining table and chairs central in the room the other side is the lounge area, comfortably furnished with 2 leather settees. There is also a CD player. At the rear of this room a small hallway leads to the 3 bedrooms. The master has a king size bed, plenty of storage and an ensuite bathroom with shower. There is another king sized bedded room, again with ample storage which is next to the family bathroom that has a bath with shower attachment. There is also a washing maching here. The twin bedded room is also next to a bathroom which has a shower cubicle.

Local Area Details

Just a 5 minute drive along the sea front from Bosa Marina is the sea side resort of Porto Alabe Being built on a hillside sloping down towards the sea it gives the houses here wonderful sea views The main attraction here is the wide arc of fine sandy beach which narrows as it stretches along the coast and turns into a mixture of sand and rocks The town is slowly growing due to demand for holiday homes but the villas and houses are quite individual and this is not mass development by any means Any property here is just a short walk from the beach which can be reached by the many sets of steps leading down from the main road Porto Alabe has its own mini markets one open all year and the other during the summer months only a couple of bars that are open all year round and a couple which again are only open for summer and 2 pizzerias and a restaurant only open in summer However with a car you are in easy distance of both Bosa and many inland places of interest There is also a cliff path that starts near the main car park near the beach and leads to another small beach just a 15 min stroll away Driving south from Bosa for about 5 minutes you will reach the very traditional village of Tresnuraghes This is a typical Sardinian village where time appears to have stood still The majority of the inhabitants work on the land in some form or another either tending their animals vineyards or olive groves and growing their own vegetables and making their own cheese These are people that far prefer to eat and drink their own produce or produce made by someone they know they never buy anything from a shop if they can help it On warm evenings the men gather on the many benches that are scattered around and catch up with the news of the day and the women can be found in a separate gatherings sometimes making lace or shelling beans for dinner and having a good gossip Strangers here are looked on with curiosity and they may well stare at you but should you give them a smile and a Buongiorno they will want to know all about you and where you come from Although a little intimidating at first the people here are open and friendly The parochial church and the local saint is San Giorgio St George and this large impressive church contains some wonderful frescos We also attended a marvellous carol concert here last year with choirs and singers from all over Sardinia There are two other smaller churches one either side of the main through road Santa Croce and San Lorenzo Slightly out of town is the church of San Marco where a festival is held twice a year The church is sign posted from the village and it is found in a wonderfully peaceful countryside setting
