This recently refurbished family run hotel has been renovated to the highest standards. The original hotel,built in 1884, was the first hotel in Parga, and today is famed for being the finest in the area. This intimate hotel is set in the heart of Parga, within walking distance to the towns beach. The Acropol provides excellent service along with the warm hospitality of the locals,providing all the ingredients required for the perfect stay.
Room Facilites:Singles,twins, double and 2 suites ( a junior suite for 3 and a private suite for 5 on request). All rooms feature satellite TV, mini-bar, hairdryers,hydro-massage shower cubicles, air-conditioning safe deposit boxes and balconies. Accommodation is based on a bed and breakfast basis only.
Hotel Facilities:The Castello a la carte restaurant, featuring Mediterranean cuisine,with an extensive wine list.Outdoor seating available during the Summer.The focal point of this exquisite restaurant is the intimate wine cellar, which is seen briefly through a dark glass panel from the restaurant floor. The cellar includes a dining table for that exclusive, romantic dinner!
Local Area DetailsParga, is a picturesque resort approximately 50kms from the port of Igoumenitsa. It is known as the Pearl of Epirus, as it has an abundance of History. Parga is characterised by its whitewashed houses,narrow lanes, imposing fortress, and the Isle of Panayia( the virgin Mary)- a church,standing in the centre of the bay- popular with postcards! The resort has a seemingly long coastline, and bays such as Valtos, Lychnos are worth a visit. When night falls, you can take a seat in a harbourside taverna, before going for a stroll. If you would like a slice of local History , head for Nikopolis.
