Well situation on the French Riviera, in the mountains (750m high) 7 km from Menton and half an hour from Italy, Sainte Agnès is the highest coastal village in Europe.
It’s a medieval village with cobbled streets, old doors and chapels (XV -XII centuries,) a medieval castle felt into ruins with its medieval garden.
This « gîte » is in a village house. From the window, you can admire a splendid view of the mountains and on the sea.
Sure you’ll spend wonderful summer holidays and in the same time you’ll enjoy go for a walk in the mountains in narrow marked out paths and discover great landscapes.
Many cultural excursions are possible too in the village and around, all famous worldwide : Menton, Nice, Monaco, Grasse (fragrances), Cannes, Antibes (jazz festival) and the market of Vintimille (Italy), everything copy. Don’t buy but go and see, it’s worth it.
This flat is central but peaceful.
Don’t hesitate to rent out of season. Spring and autumn are absolutely beautiful. The sun shines, there are less people. It’s usual to see people swimming in the sea till the 1st of November.
