Situated within the forest at the very edge of the main Lagganlia site and with forest walks direct from your doorstep, Ptarmigan Lodge provides comfortable accommodation for families or small groups of up to 6 people. Parking is available nearby. Accommodation comprises: A drying cupboard with plenty of room for outdoor clothes/boots. There is a secluded outdoor seating area with picnic bench and a portable barbeque. All you will need for your barbeque can be purchased nearby in Aviemore. A comfortable lounge/dining room with TV/DVD(you will need to bring DVDs with you as there is no TV reception in the Glen).A well equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and kettle. Bedrooms: Two x twin bedded rooms, one x twin room (bunk bed). Bathrooms: A bathroom and shower room Arrival/Departure Time: » Arrival times are after 3pm Monday – Thursday and for weekend stays, after 7pm on Friday. » Please vacate your lodge by 10:30am weekdays or, for weekend stays, by 5:30pm on Sunday. » We may be able to vary arrival times (but not departure times) by prior arrangement – please contact us to enquire. Please Note: » We operate a strict no smoking policy in all of our buildings. » All bedding is included and all our duvets and pillows are non-feather. Tea towels are also provided but you will need to bring your own towels. We provide some washing up liquid, dishwasher powder and toilet rolls for your arrival but you will need to bring your own. » Unfortunately, as we often have children on-site, we cannot allow pets inside any of our buildings. However, with prior agreement you can bring well behaved dogs to Lagganlia providing they stay in your car, are kept on a lead whilst on-site and that they are toileted off-site (and you clean up any accidental fouling on the site).
