A delightful recently renovated and newly decorated and extended 3 bed terrace house in the quiet village of Cottenham. Laundry room at rear of the property, fully furnished and equipped to a high standard with or white goods. Sofa bed in front room for another 2 persons and camp beds can be put in 2 rooms to make room for maybe 2 children, therefore sleeping 10. We would only advise this for a long weekend. A weeks rental would be ideal for a party of 6. The property has a downstairs cloakroom and downstairs bedroom with seperate kitchen and large lounge area, stairs lead to small landing off which is a double en suite then a twin room and a separate large bathroom with shower and bath. All linen and towels are supplied as are tea towels, washing up liquid, toilet rolls and many other things that would take up room in your suitcase so we supply them

Local Area Details

cottenham is 6 miles north of cambridge, easy access from A14, A10 M11. The Cathedral city of Ely and market town of Bury St Edmunds are within half and hours drive, the racing town of Newmarket is also close by. This makes Cottenham and ideal spot to travel to all East Anglia's attractions. Cambridge Has its fine selection of colleges and families oftern stay with us whilst visiting there Offspring at the colleges.
We have 4 pubs, 1 serves evening food and 1 serves lunchtime food, alternatives are the local indian restaurant and the chip shop/chinese takeaway. WE also have a coop open 7 days and week 7 am till 10pm which also has a cash point machine. Along the high street you will also find the usual village shops, butcher, bakers, building society, chemist and newsagents. These all make cottenham a thriving village with a large recreation area for kids to play. We have a village primary school and also a secondary school. Buses run into Cambridge every half and hour during peak hours then every hour.
