Downstairs this gîte comprises of a light and airy open plan room. It has a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, dining area featuring solid oak furniture and a very comfortable lounge area equipped with British digital TV, DVD and HiFi looking out over the garden, heated swimming pool and into the countryside beyond. A small library of books, games and DVDs is available in your gîte. Free wifi access available in the gite.
The kitchen area is equipped with fridge/freezer, full sized gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and many other electrical appliances. The kitchens are generously stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans and many other kitchen items.
La Vieille Laiterie has a family bedroom with a separate luxury bathroom. Upstairs is full of original features and charm provided by original roof beams, exposed stonework and chesnut flooring.
The bedroom is furnished and decorated to the highest standard with solid oak furniture and high quality soft furnishings. The bedroom has a double bed and a set of bunk beds suitable for children.
The beautiful bathroom has a double ended bath, a large corner shower, twin handbasins and WC.
There is a small restaurant on-site which is open 3 evenings each week.

Local Area DetailsWe are located on the edge of the picturesque and historic village of Brux with excellent local amenities including shop, bar, museum and 11th Century church. Our unspoilt rural location is perfect for walking, cycling, birdwatching and relaxing. Nearby attractions include Futuroscope and La Vallee des Singes. Poitiers, Cognac, Angouleme, Limoges and the coast are all within easy reach. Bicycle hire for all the family available locally.
