The property is in the Aveyron which features 10 of the most beautiful villages in France .A short drive away is the UNESCO World Heritage site Conques the sacred site on the Route of St Jacques de Compostella Fishing is available on many rivers and tributaries and the thermal spa of Cransac is 2km away. The Lot Valley and all it has to offer is very near. In the summer the local villages have Fetes which show a different dimension to rural French life. Skiing is available in Aubrac about 1 hours drive away, Canoeing and other water sports are available nearby Throughout the summer many local markets take place where we have spent many relaxing hours

The local weather is lovely with spring and autumn similar to a British summer. The summer is hotter, 25 - 32 degrees C, but not too humid because it is quite high. The winter is sunny, cold, crisp and clear. Skiing is only 1 hour away.
