Excellent location for discovering the Limousin and the Dordogne. Situated on a working Limousin cattle farm, nestled in over 80 hectares of Correzian countryside. One bedroomed gite with double or twin beds. Cot/cotbed available at no extra charge. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room which can accomodate for another couple or for children. Large living area with 2 large comfortable sofas, English TV, stereo and modern wood burner.A wi-fi connections is also available. Fully fitted kitchen with microwave, electric oven, gas hob, toaster, kettle and fridge freezer. All crockery, glasswear and cutlery provided. Bathroom with bath and shower and a seperate toilet. Half acre lawn, ideal for relaxing and dining, over-looking the well stocked carp lake which our guests are welcome to fish in at no extra charge. All linen and towels are provided at no extra cost as well as all gas, electric and wood. A BBQ is available on request.
Local Area DetailsOnly 10 mins from the market town of Lubersac which has supermarkets, banks, bakeries and shops. 15 mins from Pompadour, the home of the National Stud with its chateau overlooking the Horse racing track. Throughout the summer there are horse racing and showjumping almost every weekend. 20 mins from St Yrieix and its wonderful shopping streets.
From La Siauve you are also within 30 mins of the Dordogne region.
The cities of Limoges Brive Tulle and Perigieux are all within an hours drive of the gite.
