The beach house has a raised veranda to give you fantastic ocean views and to experience the tropical breezes coming off the South Atlantic Ocean. Step through your own private beachfront access gate to enjoy the shallow, safe, warm, clear ocean waters and white sand beach. This is an all year round destination as temperatures rarely if ever drop below 26C.

Located on the oceanfront, surrounded by its own palmtrees, this beach house sleeps 6 and is equipped for the laid back lifestyle of the Brazilian tropics. With large veranda areas around two sides of the house, the beach house is elevated to catch the breeze from the continuous tropical tradewinds. The verandas provide welcome shade during the heat of the day. With hammocks to relax in, sun loungers, dining table, chairs and barbecue, everything is in place for a great holiday. The private beach area within the grounds is partly shaded by palms with the rest for sun worshippers. The gardens are stocked with mature palm trees, flowering shrubs such as oleander and other sea loving grasses and plants. Stroll through your own private acessway onto the beach to swim, visit beach bars or restaurants, or buy a few fish from the local fishermen. Very very laid back!

Castaway has an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, situated alongside the veranda. This is very convenient for food preparation and alfresco eating whilst watching the fishing boats on the ocean. For a relaxing holiday it is very hard to beat the Brazilian beach way of life; lie back, enjoy the sun and breezes with an ice cold drink!

There is a kitchen with gas oven and hob, large fridge freezer, coffee maker, etc... Granite worktops and tabletops complete this seaside house. If you wish to cook there are local supermarkets and two major hypermarkets based in the city of Joao Pessoa. As well as providing all the food and drink you would be used to at home, they have a tremendous range of meat, fish and exotic vegetables. They also sell snorkelling gear, flip flops and other beach items.

You do need to hire a car for this beach house which is one hours drive from the international airports of Recife Once at Castaway all your basic needs can be found locally There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance but we advise a trip to Joao Pessoa for your bigger supermarket needs Here you can find Carrrefour and Walmart There is an internet connection in the vilage If you want a bit of activity whilst here why not hire a beach buggy with guide to take you to some of the beautiful beaches off the beaten track We also really recommend using your hire car for occasional days out at the many stunning local beaches with their restaurants and bars Bear in mind a lot of these restaurants price their food for a party and not individually
