Close to the beach, harbour and pub, the former fisherman’s cottage is a welcoming home-from-home from the slate floors to the real open fire to the big leather sofas. We’ve fully renovated the cottage to a high standard to make it the ideal coastal holiday retreat - with a LCD TV, DVD player, freeview, an Ipod dock and not forgetting the dishwasher. Mitchell's Holiday Cottage has the traditional charm of a 19th century fisherman's cottage with an open fire in the living room, together with a high standard of modern accommodation for 5 to 6 people in three bedrooms - with sea views from two of them. Nestling between large red sandstone cliffs and the North Sea, Gardenstown itself has an abundance of breathtaking scenery and fantastic wildlife along with a picturesque harbour. And with the cottage only a stone’s throw from the beach, and 50 yards from the cosy welcoming pub and nearby bakery, it has all you’d need for a fantastic holiday. We've made Mitchell’s Cottage so we'd want to stay in it ourselves, so there's a coffee machine in the kitchen, a nice big bath for having long soaks, and the larger bedrooms have all-cotton bedlinen.
