Charming Victorian beamed cottage built in 1869 situated in a small quiet village 4 miles from Pickering. It has 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people. It is comfortably furnished and very well equipped with many homely touches. There is a small lawned garden at the front of the cottage and a large detached enclosed garden at the rear with various shrubs and trees. At the bottom of the garden there is an outbuilding where garden furniture, bats and balls and two bicycles are available.

Castle Howard (18 miles) stately home, grounds and lake where "Brideshead Revisted" was filmed. Eden Camp (6 miles) re-creation second world war museum with various exhibits. Pickering (4 miles) market town and gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and southern end of the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, which runs through the National Park.
