The apartment is on an Adalusian-style luxury complex on the hillside behind the port and beach. It is quiet and peaceful with beautifully kept gardens and lovely bird song in the early evening. It is bright, spacious, well equipped, newly and tastefully furnished.
It has: two good sized bedrooms, (one double, one twin); two bathrooms, one of which is ensuit and contains a jacuzzi; a large private terrace ideal for alfresco dining; air-conditioning and central heating; a well equipped kitchen and utility room, and gated underground parking.
The kitchen includes a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridgefreezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, hand-blender.
Media equipment includes a flat screen TV, SKY, DVD player, CD player
We keep a few toys and games in the apartment for children. The 30 square meter terrace provides an ideal play area and a cot and highchair are available on request.
The living-room has a sofa bed to sleep a fifth person if required.
Towels and linen are provided. Welcome packs are available at extra cost (useful if you are arriving late in the day, ask for further details).

Local Area DetailsPuerto De La Duquesa is a small attractive port on the Costa Del Sol with shops restaurants a blue flag beach and Robert Trent Jones designed 18 hole golf course with great views of the coast. It is located between Malaga, which is 50 minutes away, and Gibralter, which is 20 minutes away and is 10 mins from Estepona. It is an Ideal location for beach lovers, golfing enthusiasts, families or couples. The port itself is a lovely place to take a stroll, have a drink, or just sit and people watch. Whilst Duquesa golf course is right next door there are numerous other courses within a 10min drive including; Dona Julia; Estapona and Casares.
For beach lovers Duquesa, Sabinillas, and Estepona all have wide beaches that are good for swimming.
Other activities include mountain biking, quad biking, sailing, diving, waterskiing, banana boat and donut rides, dolphin and whale watching tours near Gibralter
Duquesa is well positioned for visiting other places of interest. All within a 30 minute drive are; Casares a pretty hillside village in the mountains of Ronda; Selwo Safari park in Estepona; Selwo Marine park and cable car in Benalmadena; other beach resorts such as Puerto Banus and Sotogrande; Gibralter itself, also makes a great day out.
Local street markets are always fun to have a wander around. Sabinillas has a market on Sunday, Castilo on Tuesday, Estepona on Wednesday.
