This villa is situated slightly above the village of Santa maria di Castellabate, on the hillside and affords stunning sea views from the various balconies and outdoor garden patio area. The ideal location means it is just a short 5 minute drive to the main pedestrian village with its shops, bars and restaurants as well as several snady beaches.
The accomodation offered is the upper floor of the villa which has an independent entrance and outdoor area which is totally private and on one level within a enclosed area with a gate . The accomodation consists of 3 bedrooms ( 1 doubble, 1 twin , 1 single) and 2 bathrooms all on one level and all with views of the coast. There is a kitchen dining area equipped with a small but complete new kitchen unit and gives on one side onto a balcony with table and chairs ideal for dining al fresco whilst the other side gives onto the entrance patio area
There are 2 bathrooms one with shower,wc,sink,bidet and washing machine the other with toilet,wc,bidet.
The villa enoys the outdoor patio area where there is a small garden with an apricot and lemon tree in season, covered area for parking
Local Area DetailsThe village of Santa Maria di castellabate is situated in the undiscovered and beautiful Cilento coast which in turn lies in the Cilento National park a protected nature reserve which covers a vast area comprising rocky coves sandy bays verdant hills inland and natural flora and fauna It is situated 50km south of Salerno and the Amalfi coast and therefore allows day trips to the more well known tourist areas such as theAmalifi coast with the villages of Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Sorrento and the island of Capri. There are numerous historic archaelogical sites nearby, Paestum and Velia not to mention Pompei and Ercolano. Locally one can visit the medieval village of Castellabate a still inhabited medieval village now under the patronage of the UNESCO which offers stunning views of the coast and preserves its secrets from the past in its narrow cobbled alleyways, graceful arches and piazza where time has stood still. The neighbouring village of San Marco can also be reached in a short drive with its picturesque fishing port . Boat excursions around the small island of Licosa.
