Casa Sihade is set in the small village of La Garnatilla, a typical white-washed village overlooking the Med. The house is set close to the church and with typical Spanish decor and large sun terrace offers an ideal base to enjoy a realxing holiday.The house is set on three levels. Coming in through the front door you enter the living room, comfortably furnished and with cool tiles underfoot. At the back of the house there is the kitchen/dining area, cheerfully decorated and with a toilet/washroom just off to the side. Stairs leading down from the living room take you down to the bathroom and bedrooms. On the top floor there is the large sun terrace and a sun room where you can escape from the heat of the sun. The terrace overlooks the village church, over 200 years old, and has views over the hills covered in almonds & olives and down to the Med. An artist or walkers dream holiday

Local Area Details

There are no amenities in the village but vans call daily selling fish & bread. For all other amenities Motril is only 10 minutes away by car and there you can buy all that you could need. There are plenty of supermarkets, boutiques, restaurants & bars, where they still give free tapas, the beaches stretch for miles in both directions from here. La Garnatilla is a pretty Andalucian village, it has two natural springs and an old original wash-house where all the ladies in the village did there laundry.Paths lead out of the village through old almond groves to the surounding hillsides. The Costa Tropical offers a Spanish atmosphere with friendly & courteous locals. It is an area rich in Spanish culture and just waiting to be explored. Malaga airport is only an hour and a half's drive away. The house is a beautiful place to relax & unwind or a good base for sightseeing and exploring. 1 hour's drive away from; Granada with it's famous Alhambra Palace, Nerja caves along the coast, the ski resort of Sol y Nieve in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Alpujarra villages worth a visit for local wines and produce.
