From the kitchen and Master bedroom with En-Suite, patio doors open out onto a large pool sun- and pergola terrace, where you can eat ‘al-fresco’. From the pool, the large balustraded terrace extends and incorporates the garden area and lead to the entrance patio area with mature palm trees. This Villa has sun loungers for you to use, either by the pool terrace or the more shaded pergola-terrace area. The location of this Villa offers beautiful views to the sea, mountains and surrounding country-side. Local Area DetailsVilla VISTA is just a few minutes drive from the white washed villages of Competa, Sayalonga and Archez, known locally as the Pearl of the Axarquia and easily approached by a good tarmac road. Many Villas in this area have long dirt tracks that require a 4X4. The village of Competa has many bars and restaurants offering excellent tapas and meals at low prices. The area of Competa has one of the best climates in Europe. The Village is situated 50 km east of Malaga and approximately 16 km from the coast with a population of about 3.400 inhabitants. It is situated on the route of sun and wine. The municipalities included in this route are Competa, Algarrobo, Sayalonga, Canillas de Albaida, Torrox, Frigiliana and Nerja The main agricultural product is the grape and the wines of Competa are some of the finest in the whole province. The village has retained its original Moorish structure with the white fronted houses and an interesting contrast is the brick tower of the Parish Church of La Asuncion. There is also the nature reserve a perfect example of the beauty of this region. This medium sized village is surrounded by delightful olive groves and almond blossoms and a 4000 hectare wide wildlife reserve. Competa itself boasts a host of entertainment there are is a modern swimming pool local bodegas riding stables several craft boutiques and more than 30 bars and restaurants where you can taste the famous Vino de Competa, Sangria and a great variety of tapas. This tranquil village provides the ideal place for those who are seeking a less stressful lifestyle in one of the best climates in Europe. The Sierras lie to the North and the wide expanse of the Mediterranean to the South. The area is immersed in the history of past civilizations.
