Our apartment is situated in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Mijas mountains in the typically spanish village of Mijas Pueblo, Andalucia. The ground floor self catering accommodation is one of only six and has been very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The large garden terrace is ideal for relaxing on sunbeds or in the warm evenings dining alfresco with the scent of the orange trees wafting on the breeze. For those wishing to dine out, restaurants and tapas bars are just a short stroll away.

Local Area DetailsThe beautiful of Mijas Peublo is one of the few typical white villages that retains a true spanish charm and is one of the most photographed in the whole of Spain The village offers many shops and restaurants There is also a main square where in the summer months many local events and fiestas are held It is also nice to explore village through the cobbled streets where around every corner there will be something new to discover Further inland is the ancient town of Ronda and the city of Granada with its famous Alhambra Palace For the sunlovers amongst you the sweeping promenade and sandy beach of Fuengirola is just 15 minutes away by car or local bus or if you prefer a bit more seclusion the small marina and beach of Cabopino is just along the coast towards Marbella Also the world renowned millionaires marina of Puerto Banus with its designer boutiques harbourside cafes and chic restaurants is within easy reach For those looking for the less developed coastal areas you can take a drive to the town of Tarifa which is at the southern most point facing Gibraltar and North Africa where recently the world windsurfing and kite surfing championships were held This area of the Costa de la Luz is still relatively untouched and there are many small villages with their moorish influenced architecture
