This self-catering luxury villa set in a fabulous valley over looking Arrieta Beach. It is uniquely located on an estate of 30,000 meters of land, which boasts spectacular panoramic sea and mountain views.
It has mature exotic gardens, which include Mango, Banana, Guava and Lime fruit trees, vegetable such as tomatoes, potatoes and basil as well as fresh eggs from the onsite hens, all of which guests are welcome to help themselves to during their stay!
The entire estate runs on wind and solar power and is a unique example of sustainable living. There are 24 solar panels, batteries and 2 large windmills. This rural location is a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the country with the added beauty of being next to the beach.
The area was originally farming land and has two natural wells; the house is a fully restored Aljibe 'Water Deposit' and has been styled using local stonework and wood. It is just a five min walk to the beach & sleeps up to 6 people with 2 bathrooms, lounge area, full kitchen with grill, 4 ring stove, fridge, oven & washing machine. There is also an outdoor 'breeze house' dining area with thatched roof & sea views, sun loungers & BBQ. Towels & linen are provided & there is also a safe.
The master suite has a large double bed, spacious built in wardrobe & ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath (with Shower) & second separate shower. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and for additional bed space there is a double sofa bed and an Indonesian day bed in the lounge. Bathroom 2 has a WC & shower & both bathrooms have Italian designed sinks & Moroccan mirrors.
The solar heated pool area consists of a 10-meter lap pool, a jet pool, a Polynesian style day bed with thatched roof beside this is a large open entertaining suite with a second kitchen, gas BBQ, dining table, Moroccan style seating area, and a guest toilet with shower. This area is shared between the 8 dwellings on the retreat. WiFi connection is available within the Eco Retreat.
This property is child friendly and special touches include a play park area & trampoline for children, table tennis, a sand football pitch,surf boards, beach toys, bicycles and even a resident donkey called Mollie who happily provides rides for the younger visitors!
Local Area DetailsArrieta beach is in front of the villa just 5 minutes walk away & is a great beach for families and surfing, it has a tapas beach bar, restaurant, childrens play area plus toilet and shower facilities. The village itself has many seafront fish restaurants as well as supermarkets & shops. From the villa you can really explore the Lanzarote countryside take a walk up the volcanoes mountains discover hidden caves and wildlife all whilst enjoying the spectacular views Five minutes drive away from Arrieta is the picturesque mountain village of Haria the valley of the thousand palms there you will find a number of cosy restaurants tapas bars serving local dishes each Saturday you can experience the artisan market which is well worth a visit Another point of interest is the Islands only 18 hole golf course situated in Costa Teguise only a 15 minute drive away
