Benalmadena Costa has numerous bars nightclubs and dancing venues There are venues showing well known acts and also lots of stars of yesteryear as well as bars hosting nightly quizzes karaoke and even bingo A lot of the bars have large screen TVs and show all the main sporting events Bonanza Square with its vibrant atmosphere and dozens of restaurants bars and clubs is just around the corner from the apartment At Benalmadenas award winning Puerto Marina which is approx 1015 mins walk you will find many restaurants bars and nightclubs in fact something to suit all ages and tastes Tivoli World at Arroyo de La Miel which is just a short walk has a Spanish theme park with an array of breathtaking rides and superb Flamenco dancing or for those with a head for heights why not take a ride on the cable car to the mountain top and take in the breathtaking views Paloma Park again walking distance is beautiful to stroll around there is a large lake and you can mingle with chickens and rabbits to name but a couple of creatures that share the park it is also the home to the Sea Lions and Selwo Dolphins who perform there daily There are two excellent water parks in the area which are easily accessible and an excellent fun day out for all the family On the beach you will find there are many water sports that you can participate in and for the daredevils why not try your hand at paragliding If youre a keen angler there are many good fishing spots and organised sea fishing trips from the Marina and Port at Fuengirola Bored with sunning yourself on the beach Then why not take a boat trip there are many that go out daily from the marina Throughout this area there are many pretty white villages which are much more the traditional Spain eg Benalnadena Pueblo and Mijas Pueblo can both be reached by bus are well worth a visit Mijas Pueblo being the larger of the two
