QUINTA DAS EIRAS is available all year round and can sleep up to 6 people. However, it will only be available to one group at a time, irrespective of the number of guests.

The villa stands at the end of a traditional Portuguese village with beautiful views, only 5 minutes drive from shops and restaurants. The villa has three bedrooms (sleeps 6), one on the ground floor and the other two on the upper floor, with verandas overlooking the grounds and the beautiful panoramic views.

All bedrooms have two single beds, wardrobe, dresser, electric fan (summer season) and central heating (winter season). There is a family bathroom with shower on the ground floor and a second one (en-suite) in the upper floor.

The sitting room/dining area is very comfortable with fireplace, TV, cable TV, DVD player and collection of DVD’s, CD player/radio and some books. The dining area has a large table with 6 chairs.

The kitchen is very well equipped and includes: microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hob, dishwasher, electric grill, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, teapot, griddle, cutlery, pots and pans, glassware, etc...

Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. You also have free use of our washing machine, iron and ironing board. On request (free of charge): cot, baby bath and high chair.

The games room (stone cottage) has several table games, cards, dominos, darts, TV, CD player/radio and Playstation II with games. This room has a mini-bar (not included in price; please see price list at place).

Outside (and exclusive to the villa) are a private parking, large garden with two traditional threshing circles, tables and chairs, bicycles to explore the area, barbecue, badminton field, bow and arrow area and a refreshing swimming pool with sun loungers.

At the end of the garden you will find a wooden gate that give you access to walking trails from the past, which you can follow until the renovated windmills from where you have fantastic panoramic views of the distant mountains and the beautiful valley full of vineyards and olive groves. Near the windmills there is a picnic area, ideal for family picnics or to rest a little bit after a pleasant walk trough the village.

There is lots of fresh food supplied daily to the village; bread is sold door to door every morning (stay alert for a white van), and you will often find fish, fruit, as well as many other things.

Quinta das Eiras is provided with a FREE welcome hamper (week rentals only) including basic provisions to get you started. Hamper includes: Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fruit juice, red wine, cookies, jam and toasts.

The villa is located only 30Km from the town of Coimbra Portuguese 3rd town and 45 minutes from the world heritage town of Tomar The beach Silver Coast is only 40 minutes away and there are lots of attractions in the area such as the Conimbriga ruins castles river beaches etc
