The house has been divided into four self-contained apartments all of which are comfortably furnished to a high standard. All the apartments have sea views and have separate entrances. There is ample off-road parking adjacent to the apartments.

Trelawney house is located in the village of Gunwalloe which is about 5 miles from Helston, home of the Floral Dance. Heslton has supermarkets and a good range of shops. Close to Trelawney House is the Halzephron Inn, which is an old smugglers' inn and is handy for a meal if you do not wish to cook for yourself. Mullion Golf Club, a links course, is within easy reach. There are many places of interest including Lizard Village and Lighthouse, Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Poldark Mine and Flambards Village Theme Park to mention but a few. There are also many National Trust and other gardens open to the public not forgetting the Eden Project.
