Our holiday cottage in Besneville is the perfect place for a relaxing break, and is ideally situated to explore the French region of Normandy. With the beach only a few minutes away at Barneville Carteret our accommodation is a delight to rent. And it is so near to you being only 21 miles from Cherbourg ferry port. We will be there to welcome you on arrival and will always be available to give help and friendly advice on France throughout your stay. La Croix Rompue is easy to reach, but hard to leave.
The holiday cottage, set in an acre of garden, has been totally rebuilt by French artisans. The outside walls were constructed using the original stone, then the inside lined with modern materials. This means that with the open fire and convector heating the cottage is cosy all year round.
The first floor has two comfortable twin bedrooms. Each bedroom has two single beds, 2 bedside cabinets, dresser and mirror. At the top of the stairs is a toilet with hand basin and mirror.
Ground Floor - In the bathroom you will find a bath/shower, wash basin, hair dryer, dresser, and mirror. Next door is a separate toilet. In the lounge there is a large open fire, comfy 3 piece suite, television with plenty of videos to watch, books and loads of games. The well equipped kitchen has a cooker, fridge, kettle, microwave, dining table to seat six, good quality crockery and cutlery.
Local Area DetailsOnly 40 minutes drive from Cherbourg ferry port and right on the doorstep of many of Normandys best attactions such as the DDay Landing Beaches and Mont Saint Michel There are literally miles of empty beaches close by and dont forget to visit the historic market towns of Bricquebec and Saint Sauveur
