About Airport Information
Tuscany has two international airports, the Galileo Galilei International Airport in Pisa (1 hour from Orciatico) and Amerigo Vespucci Airport, in Florence (1.5 hours from Orciatico). Both airports handle flights to and from major European cities. Pisa handles the bulk of European scheduled flights, with direct flights from the UK on BA, and from many European airports on Ryanair. Longhaul and transatlantic flights arrive in Milan and Rome, both about 4 hours away by road or rail.
