We are 3 minutes walking from Politeama Theatre, the Heart of Palermo. From there start all the buses and coaches to the main beaches, Mondello beach first of all (10 minutes by bus), so that you can stay in right in the centre of the city, but have an easy access to the beach at the same time! From the Theatre also starts the double-decker tour bus that takes you on a scheduled panoramic tour of Palermo with an English-speaking guide, the best way to start your trip in Palermo! Living in the Centre of Palermo does not require a car at all, though if you have one you may park it on the street or in one of the two private parkings just behind us. Politeama Theatre square is also well connected by public transportation to the airport Falcone e Borsellino (40 minutes). Palermo, which in Greek means "All Port", is surrounded by the seaside, so the port is very close to the centre, and we use to have a trip in the small islands around and come back easily in the same day!
