There is excellent golfing with the Royal Liverpool Open course at Hoylake close-by and benefits from inclusive fishing on a small private lake 300 yards from the cottage. Excellent village pub/restaurant. Fine dining in nearby restaurants and hotels. Excellent base for daytrips to the roman town of Chester and Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008.

With full double glazing, gas central heating and cosy woodburner, The Shippon is ideal for a holiday any time of the year.
Large kitchen dining room. The oak kitchen with granite worktops is fully equipped including washer/dryer, full size electric oven/grill, five ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc.
Cosy lounge with woodburning fire and beamed ceiling. Underfloor heating keeps the sandstone floor warm underfoot. TV, video and selection of videos and CDs, games etc for entertainment.
2 double bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe.
