The beautiful apartment is situated on the top floor of a restored farmhouse, and offers beautiful views overlooking orange and lemon groves, rambla (dry river bed), and the mountains beyond.
The homely accomodation is fully furnished, with all towels and linen provided, and offers a home from home feel, with games, books, DVDs and Sat TV, and has been restored in keeping with the traditional feel of the house, with exposed beams and canas. Guests have their own entrance.
We offer our clients 2 double bedrooms, one with en suite shower room, single bedroom, 2nd shower room, lounge/diner, fully equipped Spanish style kitchen. Guests have use of the utility room, colourful private garden, and splash pool.
WE ALSO OFFER ACCOMODATION ON A B&B BASIS AT 30 EUROS PER DOUBLE ROOM PER NIGHT
The house is situated in a peaceful hamlet, whilst being just 2 minutes drive from the village of Almanzora, which boasts 5 bars, 2 bakeries, supermarket, bank, medical centre, pharmacy and school. There is even an old Palace desperate to be restored back to its former glory, which has just had a new square built in keeping with the original square. The village is currently having a large amount of money spent on it, and this year we have a new municipal swimming pool, next to a new fiesta area, which has walkways and beautiful gardens. There is even plans to create a bowling green on the outskirts of the village. Almanzora village is very friendly and there are numerous fiestas in which the spanish encourage everyone to join in.
The larger towns of Albox and Cantoria are 10 minutes drive away, with their further amenities, and opening this winter/spring a new motorway which will link us to the coastal resorts of Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha in under 30 minutes.
As we are literally on the doorstep of the mountains this area is well known for its fantastic bird life, we often see golden eagles, hoopoos, vultures, little owls, falcons to name just a few, and very often wild boars can be seen at dusk on the ramblas and is just as attractive for walkers, cyclists, house hunters or just for a relaxing holiday.
We do have cycles which can be used by our visitors, and a dog to borrow for long walks!!!!!!

The coastal resorts of Mojacar Vera Playa and Garrucha are 30 minutes away as are several well known golf courses such as Desert Springs To the north of us is Lake Negratin 30 minutes away and Granada and its famous Alhambra Palace 30 minutes further on For the young at heart a must is Mini Hollywood where many westerns were made being 1 hours drive away Alicante Granada and Murcia airport are all 2 hours drive away making this area easily accessible from the UK all of which are served daily by the budget airlines
