The huge kitchen is fully fitted for all your holiday needs. We have a large garden with furniture and B-B-Q and enough space to wear out even the most energetic of children, with 6 chickens and 2 dogs and 3 cats and a parrot to keep them company.
We are situated within walking distance of local shops, bar, tabac, restaurant, baker, medical centre and post office,yet we are in very peaceful rustic area with beautiful scenery. Everyone says how quiet it is in the evenings and with no light pollution it is a fantastic place to watch the stars at night with your drink in the garden!! It is a short drive of 10 mins to the nearest town of Dinan, a famous medieval 13th century town with cobble streets with its fantastic port and steeped in history. A town full of bars and restaurants with a bubbleing night life. We have medieval festivals and fantastic christmas decorations and celebrations. Located approximatley 20 mins away from the famous golden sandy beaches of Brittany. Easily accessable from England with the local airport, Dinard, which is only 25 mins away which Ryanair flys direct from Stanstead and Luton and the ferryport at St Malo Which is accessable from Portsmouth with only half an hours drive to the cottage. We are situated in Dinan,near Golf courses, beaches, famous motorcycle track at Pluer-Sur-Rance,the aquarium, and go-carting plus many many other sports or excurions. An hours drive from Mount St Michel. Many restaurants and bars in the town, a Theatre and port which provides scenic boat trips and fishing trips. A mini train which takes you on a guided tour of the medieval town of Dinan. Swimming pools 10 mins drive away.(But you will need trunks not swimming shorts. Plumaudan, occupied during the second world war still bears the minor scares of times past, including on the front of our property.
