During non-peak hours, it is about a 10-minute drive by car, but if you want to walk into Old Rome from here, it is about 40-50 minutes by foot, walking briskly. Also, to the east of this location about 1 km. are the catacombs on via Appia Antica. This is ideal for those who wish to kick back and experience Rome living as the Romans do.
