Golf, swimming , horse riding, etc is all available iof required withing reasonable travelling distance.

We have 3 cottages situated in NW Durham close to all the wonderful local tourist attractions such as The Roman Wall, Newcastle,Durham City, Beamish Museum, The unspoiled coast including Holy Island, Bamborough and sandy beaches.We are a working sheep farm with spring lambs,Sheering etc. we have access to amazing country walks and the Sustrans cycle route. we also offer seclusion, peace and quiet ti those who prefer this. The local village offers good pub food and company. also there are many restraunts which offer almost any kind of food at competitive rates. The local town of Consett offers a wide selection of supermarkets and pubs etc. The cottages sleep fron 2 to 5 people but they are close together and conveniently accommodate groups of people if two or more families wish to holiday together. The Garden cottage and Dairy Cottage have a double and twin bedroom. The Forge cottage has a large double room and a studio couch in the living area providing comfortable accom for 4 people. All cottages are centrally heated with all linen and heating included in the price.
