This Victorian treasure in the heart of the Historic District of downtown Wilmington welcomes you in grand style. There are seven guestrooms each with private bath. One guestroom has a whirlpool. One guestroom has a television. Also, television is available in two of the common rooms. Each room has a telephone with dataport AND the entire house has free wireless internet. A stocked guest refrigerator is avaialble as well as baskets of snacks. Enjoy afternoon refreshments with the innkeepers, Margi & Doug Erickson. A gourmet breakfast is served in the dining room each morning as guests gather around the enormous table and share tales of their daily outings and plan their day.
Local Area DetailsHistoric Downtown Wilmington has a lot to offer. Enjoy upscale shops and lots of antique stores. Fine dining abounds. Take a carraige ride down cobblestone streets past historic homes or go on a walking tour. Three historic homes, which are museums, can also be toured. The Battleship U.S.S. North Carolina is here in Wilmington. We have a wonderful history museum and lots of galleries. Our Performing Arts Center, Thalian Hall, has year-round performances as well as lots of local theatre groups. Beautiful beaches are within a 10 minute drive. Some of North Carolina's finest golf courses are also nearby. Your innkeepers will help you plan your stay to take in as much or as little of the area as you like.
