Quietly situated villa in Le Rayol-Canadel, with seaviews and pool,
3 bedrooms sleeps 5-6 (on demand: extra apartment, 2 bedrooms, sleeps2-4).

This villa is situated on a sunny hillside overlooking the bay of Le Lavandou and Pramousquier with views over Cap Negre, Cap Benat, Ile de Bagaud and a part of Ile de Porquerolles. From the pool and the house you can enjoy the beautiful views over green and rocky hillsides, covered with protected cork-oak trees.
The beach is only 5 minutes away. Le Rayol-Canadel has 4 quiet sandy beaches with sufficient parking places, bars, restaurants....and crystal-clear water.
The house has recently been renovated, has a fully equipped modern kitchen and stand in 2,550 m2 of enclosed grounds and has a brand new swimmingpool 8.50 x 4 m.

Families with children are also welcome in Vivace. Don't bring any toys with you...we have enough for children between 3 and 12 years old, even mountainbikes. We live with our two children, Dave(11) and Sylvie(14) in our own house on the same land next to Vivace(with full privacy for all of us). If you have children about the same age, they can have a great time playing with our children (if they want to af course), so the parents can have a relaxed holiday as wel! And if mum and dad want to have dinner without children, no problem, you can use baby-sitting sevice free, two times a week! But most importantly we will respect your privacy 100% - you are our guests and we want you to have an unforgetable holiday.

Swimming pool: 8.5m x 4m with comfortable bench overlooking green hills.....glass of Campari-orangejuice...can you imagine....? The depth of the pool is 0.90m - 1.80m (baby-pool available on demand).

Sandbox, swing, bikes, "adventure-forest", toys etc. Free use of mountainbikes.

You can use our GSM-phone (you only have to pay the prepay-card).

You don't have to visit the tourist-office; we will give you all the necessary information about the region and it's activities. Don't worry!!!

We can also offer you the "shopping-service"for the first 2 days. Just let us know in advance what you want to have in your fridge (and other food supplies) for the first two days, and we will take care of it (of course you have to pay the goods..) Just relax!!!

There is sufficient parking space.

A 30% non-refundable deposit and a completed booking form are required to confirm the booking. The balance plus a security deposit of 250,- is payable 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.

Le Rayol-Canadel
The village and the region
If you have the choice, do try arrive the village by the hilltops. Take the wild and little frequented road between La Mole and Le Rayol-Canadel. This 12 km long road alternates dense valley's, thick maquis and sheer khaki-coloured rocky spurs. The road winds round the Maures national forest, sometimes crossing old stone bridges. Then suddenly, when you were thinking that the evergreen forests were going to stretch on forever, you will be amazed to come across one of the French Riviera's most spectacular coastal panorama's. The immense Mediterranean Sea literally explodes into view. Bleu, bleu everywhere. Opposite, a group of lazy little islands basking in the sun, just waiting for you to disembark.

The street, where most of the accommodations on this site are situated, ends in a path, wich can be the start of endless walks in the hills of the National Protected Forest "Massif des Maures", one of the few places in the world where turtles live. Sometimes you can even find one in the garden. It's also a great place for mountain-biking.

Le Rayol-Canadel is in fact a part of the French Riviiera which is not yet discovered by mass tourism. If you want to visit more touristic places: Saint-Tropez, Saint-Maxim, Frejus etc. are only between 30 and 45 minutes away and Cannes 60 minutes. Le Lavandou is 10 minutes and Hyeres, 20 minutes. If you want, we can give you advice for things to do every day, to discover and enjoy this paradise.



A must to visit: Jardins du Domaine du Rayol !
These gardens form a sort of natural outdoor exhibition. The "Conservatoire du Littoral" (Botanical Conservatory), wich is now the owner, has put the landscape gardener Gilles Clement in charge of restoring and re-designing the site: 12 acres of flora from medeterranean climates from all over the world. Mediterranean carob trees, Australian acasias, South African strelitzias, Mexican agaves, Asian bamboo, New-Zealand linseed and Chilean palm trees all in a truly magnificent setting. During summer you have the unique opportunity of diving in the adjacent underwater garden!


Another must to visit: the islands "Iles d'Or". Especcially national parc "Port-Cros" (no cars allowed...). Just take the boat in Le Lavandou and experience the beauty of these islands and their underwater flora and fauna. Don't forget to take your mask and snorkel!


Swimming, sailing, snorkeling, sailboarding, pedalo's, diving....

On the beaches of Le Rayol, Canadel and Pramousquier are life-guards in season. Good snorkling along the rocks. The EC tests rate this cove the cleanest water in this part of the mediterranean. Warm enough for swimming from May to October. Canadel has an active diving centre with instruction and all gear available. Sailing schools in Pramousquier and Cavaliere, with organised lessons for beginners to the experienced with a variety of boats (cats, 470's, 420's etc.) for hire. In Cavaliere also the possibility of water skiing and parasailing.

Tennis, golf, riding....

Lots of tenniscourts in Rayol and Cavaliere. Golfcourses in Le Lavandou (practice) and Valcros/La Londe (18 holes). Riding near La Mole.....with beautiful tracks in the Maures Forest.

For the children......

Lots of sand and water!!! But also: a beautiful mini-golf (15 min.) in an exotic garden, mini-harbour (5 min.) where children can be captain on their own real boat, "Niagara" swimmingparc (15 min.), with 7 water slides, jacuzzi and turkish bath, tropical bird-zoo (20 min.), "Kiddy-parc" (25 min.) small attraction-park, O.K.Coral western-town (60 min.) live western shows and fairground for children......and lots of things more!!!
